Welcome to KIPP DC: College Preparatory!

College Prep is a KIPP DC: charter school located in the historic Anacostia neighborhood of Washington, D.C. and a member of the Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP). Founded in July 2009 at the Douglass Campus in Ward 8, our school will eventually grow to capacity at 480 students serving grades 9-12 in the year 2012.

Students at College Prep experience a rigorous curriculum designed to foster success in college and beyond. We believe that exposure to numerous engaging extracurricular activities, service learning opportunities, the cultural arts, diverse literature, and multitude of math and science courses is essential to both academic and social development.
