KIPP DC : LEAP Academy

• KIPP DC: LEAP Academy is KIPP DC’s first early childhood school. LEAP opened in July 2007 and currently serves PreSchool (age 3), Pre-Kindergarten (age 4) and Kindergarten students.
• Laura Bowen is LEAP Academy’s inaugural principal. Prior to being selected for KIPP Leadership, Ms. Bowen taught fifth grade for five years and served as KEY Academy’s vice principal.
