Michael Sumner is KEY Academy’s Physical Education teacher. In addition to his work here at KEY, Mr. Sumner is an active mentor to youth here in the District. Prior to joining our team, Mr. Sumner worked for the D.C. Public School System as an attendance counselor. He has also served as a rehabilitation coordinator for Maryland Family Resource, Inc and as a Case Files Analyst and Senior Paralegal at CACI, Inc. Mr. Sumner earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice at The American University.
