Child Abuse Prevention Training for Parents and Guardians

This presentation covers strategies for keeping children and youth safe from mistreatment, warning signs of abuse, prevention strategies, and tips for responding to concerning behaviors.  The training also provides an overview of the Play It Safe! curriculum that we use with students to help them identify potentially concerning behaviors and to know how to ask for help. If you have concerns that a KIPP DC student is being abused or neglected, we encourage you to make a report to the DC Child and Family Services Agency (202-671-7233) and to contact the DC Access Helpline: 1-888-7WE-HELP or 1-888-793-4357 for help.
