Ten students from KIPP DC College Preparatory will be participating in The Woods Project this summer, an intensive two week wilderness leadership experience.
The goal of this program is to expose students from cities to the great outdoors, to help them stretch out of their comfort zone, and to cultivate life skills necessary to overcome challenges that they will face in their future in college and beyond. Students are spending time this school year meeting and training for the trip.
We need to raise $15,000 for the entire group to go. All donations will directly support students with the costs associated with airfare, room & board, and gear for this trip and to ensure they can have the experience of a lifetime.
All donations must be made by Friday, May 31.
