KIPP DC Legacy College Preparatory opened in 2019-20. KIPP DC Legacy College Preparatory is a welcoming, positive high school founded on the guiding principles Learn, Live, and Lead. We nurture and celebrate every student and family; we prepare our students for college, careers, and choice-filled lives. We strive every day to be consistent and kind. We commit to building a strong, diverse community where everyone feels a sense of belonging.

At KIPP DC Legacy College Preparatory our goal is for 100% of students to graduate from high school prepared to enroll in and complete college.
Students engage in a diverse curriculum of English, math, history, and science classes. Students also engage foreign languages, electives, and physical education courses.
Teachers partner with students and families to ensure students holistic needs are met.
Legacy College Preparatory is proud to offer the following clubs and activities for students including football, cheerleading, basketball, volleyball, baseball, track & field, creative arts magazine, dance team, gaming club, music production club, strength club, national academy of finance, student government association, yearbook club, and more.
