KIPP DC recognizes the importance of community engagement and permits the use of school facilities for educational, recreational, civic, and cultural activities on an application basis.
Please fill out this form to request licensing space at a KIPP DC campus for your event. Applicants must submit the signed application to KIPP DC at least 30 working days prior to the proposed use. KIPP DC will assess all applications for allowability and determine the required security, custodial, and AV services that will be needed and their associated fees.
Please note that KIPP DC requires that licensees obtain and maintain the following insurance policies covering the event with the following minimum limits and no deductible applicable:
- Commercial general liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence; $2,000,000 in the aggregate.
- Casualty insurance: $5,000,000 per occurrence; $5,000,000 in the aggregate.
The licensee must name KIPP DC as an additional insured, and policies must include a full waiver of subrogation.
