Upon completion of fourth grade, Spring Academy students move onto KIPP DC Northeast Academy.

Academics
Spring Academy fosters students’ social, emotional, and academic development, setting them up for a life filled with choice and opportunity.
Students receive comprehensive and rigorous instruction in literacy and math, but also benefit from music, art, physical education, social studies, and science classes.
KIPPsters at Spring Academy develop a love for learning, and build the skills and mindsets necessary to set them up for success in middle school and beyond.
Extracurriculars
Spring Academy offers their elementary students a number of extracurricular ways to build teamwork and explore their passions, including girls’ and boys’ basketball, mad science club, fashion club, Pretty Brown Girls running, and more! This year Spring Academy is proud to instill its values for students as SPRING (Shine, Personality, Respect, Integrity, Nifty, and Grit).
Spring Academy partners with the YMCA for before and aftercare.
