KIPP DC WILL Academy’s mission is to help their students grow into confident, informed, and exemplary citizens who are prepared to shape the future. Our students take pride in bettering themselves and achieving academic success. Upon completion of eighth grade, WILL students have the choice to move onto KIPP DC College Preparatory or other competitive high schools in the region.

WILL Academy fosters rigorous and supportive learning environments that prepare students for academic success in high school, college, careers, and beyond.
Students are engaged in a diverse curriculum of not only literacy, math, social studies, and science classes, but also art and physical education.
Teachers at WILL Academy are committed to supporting the social-emotional development of their middle school students by developing close relationships with their students and families—ensuring a smooth transition into adolescence.
Extracurriculars

WILL Academy offers their middle school students a number of activities to grow as citizens and scholars, allowing their students to practice everything from video games to running. Extracurriculars currently available at WILL Academy include Girls on the Run, cheerleading, boys basketball, girls basketball, flag football, DC SCORES, gaming league, and Student Government Association, digital media, and more.
